The Professional:
Ashlee (she, her, hers) is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and is awaiting her LPC. Ashlee is working at Uniquely You Behavioral Health as our Clinical Coordinator. Ashlee has experience working with individuals struggling with neurodivergent disorders, addiction, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, trauma, other mental health concerns and issues regarding sexuality.
Ashlee uses a person-centered approach with clients, focusing on establishing a strong therapeutic relationship. She believes that therapy is an alliance in which she holds a foundation of unconditional positive regard for the client. Her approach to therapy is eclectic, pulling from many different theories including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and many others. Ashlee believes that each client is unique and requires a tailored approach to their therapeutic process.
Ashlee received her Associates Degree in Addiction Counseling from College of DuPage in 2017 and completed her Bachelor’s degree in Human Services in 2018 at National Louis University. Ashlee will complete her Master’s program at National Louis University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling June 2023. Ashlee has completed the SUPR DUI Service Provider Training, Effective Co-Occurring Disorder Treatment, IAODAPCA Gambling Disorder Training, ASAM Criteria Skill Building Training, and Internal Family Systems Training.
