Uniquely You Behavioral Health is dedicated to serving the neurodivergent (ND) community and their families. Neurodivergent is a broad term encompassing a large presentation of individuals. The term means to have a mind that differs from the dominant societal standards of “normal”. This includes people who are genetically or innately functioning differently, such as ADHD or ASD, and this can include those who have a brain-altering experience (trauma or brain injury), or a combination of the two.

Uniquely You Behavioral Health believes that some forms of innate neurodivergence are intrinsic and fundamental aspects of an individual’s self-hood. As such, we do not address neurodivergence as something to be masked or removed from a person. Therapists at UYBH are highly trained in ND affirming care and are available for you to start your mental health journey.
